History: She was born in the east. Merla was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Layabout. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. After a long history of fighting, Hamil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She takes great joy in being the best Seamstress in town.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Seamstress.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bellfounder they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Laborer, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.
