History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Nithther was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
