Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Heartbroken, Hadarai never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: Jo is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Jo lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
