To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nora. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Kilia was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Knight and occasionally as a mercenary.

History: Born in the west to a Servant, Vaina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Servant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Servant work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
