Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His bronze crest has been sun bleached extensively. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. He has done his best to style his brown fur to look like a famous performer. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tabaxi in existence. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Beast was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Beast abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Elven compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

Voice: Soft and melodious

Description: An older woman who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, she is not a threatening figure. Sporting a black mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady brown eyes.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is a husky man, who wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is a Barrister first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and half-elven compassion
