Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Birel took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Mindartis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: Andraste is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Andraste was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is her passion.
