History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Kellen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She tends to her Knight job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is a great chef.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. She was granted martial powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Personality: Igden hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his poetry career. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.
