History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Sora was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against giants

History: Elaim hails from a village terrorized by drow. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Scribe like her father before her.
