History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Brewer, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Kaladan was born with his mother's beautiful face. Kaladan abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Bowyer father left her crippled. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
