History: Mord lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Vani was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. She has dyed her greying white hair a little too much giving a sharp white color. Her ears are large.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
