History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Nija was born with her father's beautiful face. A gifted student she started as a Adventurer, but she got bored and became a Layabout. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
