History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She wears dull black sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath her sweater she keeps a concealed bow, just in case. She is physically well-built. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length silver hair. Her eyes are a pleasant silver.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Shax enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Shax liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bellfounder for the past few years.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Engong does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Engong was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She takes great joy in being the best Soapmaker in town.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Soapmaker responsibilities is difficult; and wants to open a new tavern
