Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Emmeline will drive conversation. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. After coming to the age of reason, John took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

His beard is silver, braided, and well cared for. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and retire the richest man in the north

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Baker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide his balding. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Soveliss enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Soveliss was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats
