History: The child of a Animal Trainer, who enjoyed hunting, Barakas was taken on many hunting expeditions. Barakas liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Miner mother left her crippled. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to get a good night's sleep
