History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A gifted student she started as a Stylist, but she got bored and became a Carter. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Pennie lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many green ritualistic tattoos. He is wearing a long, grey cloak. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Reynard hails from a village terrorized by drow. A gifted student he started as a Courier, but he got bored and became a Spy. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Courier.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many giants want her driven away
