Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. A true patriot, Shamil would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has a long black beard with little hanging trinkets. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thorpe's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Baker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: She very much looks the part of a Glassblower, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'9" when asserting herself. She wears her auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She tends to her Glassblower job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a simple black robe with brown stripes complete with hood. Her scarlet crest is thinning but still full. Her skin is flawless and her gold eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Megren is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
