History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: Fax lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Vapula alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vapula fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: Heward was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He struck the Merchant job and began his own company from there.
