History: She was born in the west. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She tends to her Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bryseis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she's repulsed by the pc

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Rivaan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
