Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature halberd.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Faral and her spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears light armors faded through time and improper care. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Eran was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Eran took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. After a long history of fighting, Eran and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is dressed in a clean yellow cloak covering his clean studded leather. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Eiravel lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Aelar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
