When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Painter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Kava was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Apothecary. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naeris grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
