Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a tan tunic with blue highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes. His brown hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for him, and Umpen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. With a patchy golden beard and wild golden hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Alvyn began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Traulam was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She became a Dyer soon after.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and expand her business

Description: He wears a pastel costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He sports a flattop fur cut. His eyes are yellow and beady.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he loathes his own lifestyle
