Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Rolf was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Farideh lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. She struck the Courier job and began her own company from there.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ekk does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born in the east. She worked as a nervous Slave Trader and found it very stressful. She has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.
