History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Recently the stress of being a Fletcher has made it difficult for her to sleep.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Right-Handed was born on a far southern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
