History: Oriel lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: Mardnab is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Mardnab was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. After a long history of fighting, Gildmak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Seere was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Seere's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is unsatisfied with her job
