History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and sabotage a competitor
