History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his longsword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. His white hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he's looking for his big break

History: Qualen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
