History: Whurbin was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Through the years after Markosian was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Markosian's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Markosian and her spouse have recently divorced.
