History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Soapmaker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. History: Neega hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
