Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Oblar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
