History: He was born in a small mountains village. Uthemar liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. She has a dull look in her silver eyes.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Damaia grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Damaia. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Personality: Uraim wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Commoner, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a great chef.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Uraim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He's in love; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Dayereth was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
