Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for her, and Verin does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Verin was born with her father's beautiful face. Her childhood dream was to be a Mason, but she was a colossal failure. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
