History: Alex was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Being a Server kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Guard, but she got bored and became a Miller. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miller for the past few years.
