Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Mary was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She wants revenge against drow; and she is unsatisfied with her job

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the west were limited. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Slave Trader responsibilities is difficult.
