Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Bertram was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man stands a little under 4'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He wears his golden hair up. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Dalgal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dalgal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Farmer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with her old friends
