He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Mortician. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Oskar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her hair is long and chestnut with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Althaea will drive conversation. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Althaea took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor she uses now. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rezena grew up listening to her father's many stories. Rezena abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She is lean but muscular and prefers to wear blue clothing when she does not wear armor. Her tied-back hair is auburn. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Veloptima was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Veloptima grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Veloptima. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and to unite with her brother
