History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a Navigator soon after.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Cecily studied abroad. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Cartwright. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cora does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Cora was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cora and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to share knowledge with the world
