History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Matilda grew up listening to her father's many stories. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
