His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alex is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Lone is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Miner arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
