Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Ahlyssa was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ahlyssa's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shamash grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shamash. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and retire the richest man in the east
