Description: A middle-aged man, he is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down, and is pretty ugly. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aelar studied abroad. Aelar was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carpenter. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Map Maker who has hired him part-time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Corkitron lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Apothecary; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She takes great joy in being the best Dilettante in town.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Sellsword, but she got bored and became a Dilettante. She's also a talented Sellsword, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to find somewhere to settle down
