Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Faran was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Sumnes was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She bought a crossbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and expand her business

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Born in the east to a Shoemaker, Wella learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. After a long history of fighting, Rolf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.
