Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull violet iron scale mail. He has shaved his head bald. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to be a blacksmith again

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she prefers to wear green clothing when she does not wear armor. She keeps her chestnut hair in a flapper bob. Her fierce black eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she's looking for her big break

Description: She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and carries tridents. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Aasathra liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aasathra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she usually wears her blue robe and has her pickaxe always slung over her shoulder. Her hair is long and auburn with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small blue clips. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Being a Miller kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His bronze crest is smooth and relatively long. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Shamash hails from a village terrorized by orcs. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
