History: River was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents were killed by brigands in a raid when she was still a young child. The brigands captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. River was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his religion dominates his actions

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his music dream.
