History: Volen was born the youngest of three triplets. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears blue trousers with pastel and black striped suspenders. She wears various colorful collared shirts, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sage but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Through the years after Ielenia was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ielenia's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is a Cook first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Charles grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
