One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. History: Born in the west to a Bather, Waywocket learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She struck the Bather job and began her own company from there.
