Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in a small plains village. A freak accident while working with his Barrister mother left him crippled. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Jade enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jade grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She struck the Shepherd job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
