History: Born to a Carpenter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. She has wavy red hair. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
