Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: She is content; and she seems to be bored by most things

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Frederick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Frederick is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Jasmine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Engraver. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
