Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was born in the north. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to unite with his sister

Description: She usually wears her yellow robe and has her pickaxe always slung over her shoulder. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her blonde hair is knotted and matted. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. Her first spouse was a Bellfounder, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy brown stubble. She wears a simple yellow robe with blue stripes complete with hood. She has a hunchback. Her brown hair is thinning but still full. Her brown eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 39. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Courier. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but she was a colossal failure. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.
