Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Hamil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Crown-heir for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Vorka was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Vorka's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
